Making a Return

Medicalcodingbooks.com cannot accept returned merchandise, or issue proper credit, unless an RA# (Return Authorization Number) has been provided to the customer PRIOR to returning the merchandise.

Upon receipt of returned product(s), we will issue a credit or send out replacement product(s) based on your specific situation. Do not contact the product manufacturer to process a return, you must contact Medicalcodingbooks.com.

Damaged or incorrect merchandise will be replaced with no return or re-shipping charge. Notification must be within 10 days of the order being received.  Please include your RA# with your shipment.

All other return inquiries must be made within 15 days of receiving the product, and the customer is responsible for return postage. Products should be shipped with an insured, traceable carrier (UPS, RPS, Federal Express). This will protect the customer against any lost or damaged shipments. Return requests made after 15 days of receiving that product will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Quick Coders and Fast Finders are not eligible for return. Code Manager software is not eligible for return.

Unopened Merchandise
Unopened merchandise will be refunded minus cost of shipping if returned within 15 days from the time of delivery. Shipping and insurance of returned items are the responsibility of the customer. Return requests made after 15 days of receiving that product will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Opened Merchandise
Opened software or CD-ROMs will not be accepted for return. Quick Coders and Fast Finders will not be accepted for return. Books in sellable, un-marked and non-damaged condition will be accepted for a return. If an item comes back in unacceptable condition, no credit will be given to the customer. Return requests made after 15 days of receiving that product will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

1. Contact Medicalcodingbooks.com to obtain an RA# for a return either by phone at (866) 900-8300 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (PST) Monday through Friday, or by e-mail at: customerservice@medicalcodingbooks.com.
2. Medicalcodingbooks.com will provide an RA# if you are eligible for a return.
3. Return your product(s) to the return address provided by our customer service representative.
4. Upon inspection of return product(s), we will issue a credit or send out replacement products based on your specific situation.
