Medicalcodingbooks.com cannot accept returned merchandise, or issue proper credit, unless an RA# (Return Authorization Number) has been provided to the customer PRIOR to returning the merchandise. Request an RA number here.

We do not accept returns on orders over 30 days old, or refund shipping costs for returned items.

  2. Return your product(s) to the return address provided by our customer service representative.
  3. Upon inspection of return product(s), we will issue a credit or send out replacement products based on your specific situation.
  4. We do not refund shipping costs for returned items.
  5. We do not accept returns for orders over 30 days old.

Opened / unwrapped merchandise can be returned for refund, minus cost of shipping and re-stocking fee. Some exceptions apply:

  • Used software will not be accepted for return.
  • Fast Finders and Express Reference cards will not be accepted for return.
  • Used CPT Professional Edition with CPT QuickRef App will not be accepted for return.

Please pack returned items carefully before shipping. Only books in sellable, un-marked and non-damaged condition will be accepted for return. If an item comes back in unacceptable condition, an increased re-stocking fee will be assessed at our discretion. In some cases no credit will be given to the customer.

Shipping and insurance of returned items are the responsibility of the customer.

Return requests for opened items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. All returns must be received 15 days after receiving the RA#. An additional 10% restocking fee (30% total) will apply if a return arrives 16 days after the RA# is provided to the customer.

The customer is responsible for return postage, unless an incorrect item was shipped, or damaged merchandise was received.

Products should be shipped with an insured, traceable carrier (UPS, USPS, RPS, Federal Express). This will protect the customer against any lost or damaged shipments.

Damaged merchandise will be replaced with no return or re-shipping charge. Notification of a damaged item must be within 15 days of the order being received.

If you are provided an RA# for your damaged item, please include it with your with your shipment. In most cases a return shipment label will be provided to you.
